Poncho chatbot wants to talk

Here’s a development worth noting. Recently, both Microsoft and Facebook have been talking a lot about artificial intelligence (AI) and its use in chatbots. Click the links below to chat with bots in Facebook.

Commentators say:

“Facebook will now allow businesses to deliver automated customer support, e-commerce guidance, content and interactive experiences through chatbots.”

For Facebook “Chat is the future of the Internet. Messenger is the future of chat.”

And:

“Facebook believes Messenger can become a primary channel for businesses to interact with their customers, replacing 1-800 numbers with a mix of artificial intelligence and human intervention.”

Facebook chatbots, though primitive, are now open to the public.

Send them a message (if you’re logged into Facebook):
